MomoTrack is designed with privacy in mind. Your mobile money data stays on your device.
MomoTrack analyzes mobile money SMS messages to help you organize transactions, understand spending patterns, and generate financial reports.
All SMS processing happens locally on your device. Your messages are not uploaded to external servers.
SMS Permission
MomoTrack requires access to your SMS messages through the READ_SMS permission.
This permission is used only to:
- Identify mobile money transaction messages
- Extract transaction details
- Build your transaction history
- Generate reports
MomoTrack does not read, collect, or transmit unrelated personal messages.
AI Accuracy and On-Device Processing
Important: MomoTrack uses artificial intelligence to analyze SMS messages. Like other AI systems, it can occasionally make mistakes.
To enable private, on-device analysis without sending your messages to external servers, users are required to download a lightweight AI model once (approximately 42MB) upon setup.
Always verify important financial information using official mobile money records.
SMS Deletion and Data Loss
Deleting mobile money-related SMS messages may affect the application's ability to:
- Import historical transactions
- Reconstruct transaction records
- Generate complete reports
Before deleting mobile money SMS messages, make sure you understand that this may affect your transaction history.
